GovSight: Strategy, Pricing & Product Design

Co-founded and served as COO of GovSight, an AI-powered financial platform that connects directly into a city's existing accounting system. Built the competitive financial analysis behind our pricing strategy ($30K/year versus $120K+ in combined competitor costs) and pitched the resulting $90K/year in projected savings to 10 municipalities. Also led end-to-end UI/UX design across the platform's three core tools: Navi (what-if scenario planning), Mantis (an AI finance co-pilot), and Vatica (departmental financial insights).

Process Automation AI Systems Design Financial Operations

Automated Billing Audit Pipeline

Designed a three-stage automation pipeline for a retirement planning firm (name withheld) to catch billing discrepancies between signed client agreements and what was actually charged. AI extraction turns signed PDFs into structured records, a deterministic audit matches every charge against what was authorized, and a Microsoft Teams agent lets staff ask questions like "did this client sign up for this fee?" and get a sourced answer without touching the underlying systems directly.

Process Automation AI Systems Design Client Operations

Trade Notification Sync

Designed an automation to close a gap where trade confirmations sometimes never reached clients. The system watches a read-only shared sheet from the firm's clearing company for changes, checks each change against the firm's own records to tell a new trade from a correction, and sends the confirmation directly, so a missed notification no longer depends on someone noticing it was missing.

What I'm building toward

A career where the analysis I run and the dashboards I build actually change how a team makes decisions, not just reports that get filed away.

I'm Alexander, currently working in finance and moving toward business strategy and operations. I care about the "how," not just the "what": how a process actually runs, how a team makes decisions, how the numbers tell the real story. Client-facing finance work has sharpened that instinct daily, and I've also co-founded a startup, run sales operations, and picked up technical skills like dashboards and data tools to back it up.
